Prompt Copy Privacy Policy – Your Data, Your Control

At Prompt Copy, we believe your privacy should be simple and transparent. Our app is designed to help you save, organize, and use AI prompts without collecting unnecessary personal information.

What Data Does Prompt Copy Store?

Most of the information you create inside the app stays on your device. This includes:

  • Saved prompts

  • Favorite prompts

  • Offline prompt packs

  • App preferences

We do not require you to create an account, so your personal information like your name, email address, or phone number is not collected.

AI Image Extraction

If you use the AI Extract feature, the image you select is processed only to extract text from it. Your images are not stored or sold after processing.

Notifications

Prompt Copy uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send notifications about:

  • New prompt collections

  • Feature updates

  • Important app announcements

You can disable notifications anytime from your device settings.


Subscriptions & In-App Purchases 

Prompt Copy offers premium features, an ad-free experience, and exclusive prompt categories through optional In-App Purchases and auto-renewing subscriptions (Prompt Copy Pro).

  • Payment Processing: All purchases and subscription payments are handled securely through Google Play Billing (Google LLC). Prompt Copy and its developers do not collect, store, or have access to your credit/debit card numbers, banking details, or financial credentials.
  • Auto-Renewal & Billing: For auto-renewing subscription plans (Monthly and Yearly), payment will be charged to your Google Play account at the confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle.
  • Cancellation & Management: You can manage or cancel your subscriptions at any time directly through your Android device by visiting:
    Google Play Store ➔ Profile Icon (Top Right) ➔ Payments & subscriptions ➔ Subscriptions.
    Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain Pro access until then.
  • Refunds: All refund requests are governed and processed according to standard Google Play Refund Policies. To request a refund, please follow Google Play's official refund procedure or contact us.
  • Lifetime Purchase: The Lifetime Pro purchase is a one-time non-recurring payment providing permanent access to Pro features.

Third-Party Services

To provide a better experience, Prompt Copy uses trusted services such as:

  • Firebase (Notifications & App Services)

  • AWS Cloud Storage (Prompt content)

  • Google Play Services (App updates)

These services have their own privacy policies and may process limited technical information required to operate the app.

Device Permissions

Depending on the features you use, Prompt Copy may request:

  • Gallery/Storage Permission – to select images for AI prompt extraction.

  • Notification Permission – to receive app updates.

  • Internet Permission – to download the latest prompts and content.

Your Privacy Matters

We do not collect sensitive personal information, create personal profiles, or sell your data to third parties.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date.
